Great little hometown restaurant with lots of comfort food options. The food was really good. The service was outstanding. Everyone was really friendly and very prompt with refills. The location is very easy to find using Google Maps. It is close to Interstate 69 in Madisonville, Kentucky. The place is older but well kept and clean.

I used to eat at the Country Cupboard pretty often from 1988-1998, but then I changed jobs and didn't travel to Madisonville very much after that. I was in the area and decided to stop and see if it was still as good as I remember, and I was not disappointed! Still a large buffet full of wonderful food! I highly recommend it.

We stop at the Country Cupboard every chance we get. Eating in is wonderful and carry out the same. Great chicken and if you have not had the pork chops you better get there and have them!! Desserts are excellent. Sorry no photos I ate it all already!!

We were passing through town and stumbled on this family owned gem. Everything on the buffet was homemade. Lots of desserts to choice from. We will be back on our next road trip.

This restaurant is reasonably priced and has yummy delicious food. The staff were all sweet, kind and hard working. We will definitely travel back down and visit again.

Such a great place to stop for a quick warm and tasty (did i mention very cheap, too?!) lunch, on our way from Nashville to Illinois. You can even DRIVE THRU! Big variety of salads, meats, side dishes and desserts. Friendly, quick service - for a drink, napkins, etc. There’s a baby changing table in the ladies.

Fast friendly service, food was home cooked soup and salad bar, desserts many to choose from pies and cobblers puddings. Will definitely be back could go once a week and wouldn't think a thing driving from Evansville to Madisonville it's a straight shot very, very good. People very friendly. Southern hospitality.
